About Us

History and Our Future Plans

We Have Problems 2 is a youth-founded and youth led initiative with the goal of aiding the crisis of  poor mental health among today's youth. Our goal is to create outreach programs to benefit the wellbeing of our youth, as well as equipping them with positive resources and a community where they can feel safe. We wish to raise funds to be able to create more programs, establish places where teens can get readily available resources, and create innovative ways to spread awareness. As we grow we wish to be able to bring together youth from all over the country with different programs and ways to make connections.

Community Outreach

Our nonprofit organization, We Have Problems 2, is unlike any other because of our vast and open community! In our organization, we look for various ways to get you involved and working as we develop and serve our purpose of spreading mental health awareness to everyone; whether you are child, teen, or adult, we understand that you have problems too. We hold fundraisers, community nights, and plenty of engaging events where you can express any part of yourself, even the parts that you think you need to hide. If you are interested in volunteer work, donating, or simply joining us, then please contact us with the information below.

Talia Toon, CEO

My Name is Talia Toon. I am currently 17 and a Senior in high school. From a young age I dealt with the consequences of poor mental health, but with no one around me with the proper knowledge to assess my mental health needs it took time for me to come to the realization that I was not ok. This has motivated me to want to advocate for teens who are struggling like I was and educate others who may not know much about mental health. Additionally, it is my dream to pursue a career in neurology to determine possible causes of tainted mental health on a neurological level.

I joined "We Have Problems 2" because I believe in transforming personal adversity into empowerment. I want to help create systems that prioritize compassion, insight, and resilience, and I plan to a pursue career at intersection of cognitive science, psychology, and ethical technology. With that foundation, I aim to influence how we design the systems that shape people's lives. whether through behavioral research, AI-human interaction, or mental health policies, my goal is to make overlooked voices central to how we understand and support human behavior.
